Soybean Spill Slows Traffic in Mexico

Traffic in southeast Mexico was slow for about an hour and a half while crews cleaned up a soybean spill on Monday afternoon.

Public Safety officials say they arrived in the area of Muldrow and Boulevard around 4:30 p.m. after a call about a traffic obstruction. Apparently, the hopper of a truck carrying soybeans opened up and spilled beans from Muldrow to the area of Green Boulevard and Holt Street.

MPSD worked traffic while MoDOT and ADM crews cleared the road. There were no crashes or injuries from the incident.
