Mexico High School students will notice a change to the south wing’s third floor this school year.
The science lab was gutted to make way for a new one. The new lab is in room 304B, connected to the chemistry room. It features six stations, all facing the teacher to ensure safety for the students. There are four gas hookups, two water hookups with sinks, and a storage drawer at each station. There’s also an overflow station and fume hood, complete with new paint and flooring. The lab also features energy efficient lighting.
It will be available to every student in the department.
