Good news for Mexico residents. Water is still abundant in the Mexico well system. Missouri American General Manager Patrick Kelly says Mexico’s deep-water wells are not in danger of running dry. Kelly says the wells are over a thousand feet deep and the water levels above the pumps are staying at about 60 feet. He says one area customers could see problems is in the area of ground shrinkage around water mains and lines. He says crews are trying to stay on top of it as much as possible. Kelly says if you do notice a problem with your water pressure, that could indicate water line or water main trouble. He says to contact Missouri American Water as soon as possible.
