MPSD Investigates Late Night Stabbing

Mexico Public Safety officers responded to a report of a stab victim at Audrain Medical Center late Sunday night.

A 25-year-old Mexico resident told them he had been stabbed during a fight at RS Green Park. The victim was treated and released.

Around 1:00 a.m. Monday, officers found and arrested the suspect, 17-year-old Joshua Brown of Mexico. Brown was taken to Audrain County Jail to post bond on 2nd degree assault and armed criminal action charges.
