20th Honor Flight From Columbia Ready To Go

The 20th flight of the Central Missouri Honor Flight is gearing up for take-off in the early morning hours next Tuesday. Honor Flight officials say the flight will leave Columbia Regional Airport at 2:00 Tuesday morning. This time, heroes from World War II, the Korean War and the Vietnam War will take part in the flight. Officials say 68 veterans are scheduled to be on the flight and will visit war memorials in Washington D.C.¬†all day Tuesday. They will arrive back in Columbia at 11:30 Tuesday night. The general public is invited to the Columbia Courtyard Marriot Hotel with banners and flags for the welcome home celebration following the veteran’s returns.
