Mexico Homecoming Events Take Up Student’s Week

A bevy of events is planned for students at Mexico High School, all centered around Homecoming 2012 and its theme “Victory Under The Big Top.” Tuesday is 80’s Day. Wednesay, it is Cape and/or Moustache Day. Also, the Powder Puff football game will be at 7:30 that night. Admission costs $1 or a canned food item to be donated to The Help Center. Thursday is Backwards Day. Friday, it’s Dawg Day and Red and Gray Day. Students will start the football gameday off with a Victory Flag ceremony on the front lawn at 7:45 in the morning. Voting for Homecoming Queen will happen during third hour and classes will dismiss at 12:45. The parade will start at 3:00. The game will be played at 7:00 at Hawthorne Heights and followed by the queen coronation. Homecoming week will wrap up Saturday night with the Homecoming Dance from 8:00 to 11:00. Tickets to the dance are $5.
