MU Program Receives $50k Grant from ASPCA

A University of Missouri animal cruelty program has received a $50,000 grant from the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals to cover nearly 170 partial scholarships. Boil Advisory Issued for Some County Residents

Some residents in northern Audrain County are under a boil advisory due to water main repairs. Customers of Monroe County Water District #2 in Audrain County west of Highway 19 should boil all water for five minutes before consumption. The notice is in effect for at least 48 hours, starting at 8:30 a.m. Friday.

A Columbia College student from Mexico, Mo. has won thousands of dollars to help launch a business.
