Mexico Man Arrested for Sex Crimes

Audrain Co. Sheriff Stuart Miller reports a Mexico man was arrested yesterday on sex charges. 34 yo Marcus Clayton Bell of Mexico was arrested on an audrain co warrant for sexual misconduct, sexual abuse and abuse of a vulnerable person. Bell was arrested following a warrant that was issued on May 31st of this year. …

Severe Storm Rakes Across Mexico and Audrain County Monday Night

A tree damaged in a tornado two years ago along Route KK north of Mexico suffered more damage Monday night from high winds.

A severe thunderstorm packing winds of over 60 miles per hour came barreling through the city of Mexico late Monday night and left a lot of medium to large-sized tree limbs down, along with some whole trees, in its wake. Residents were out Tuesday morning beginning the cleanip process from the storm.
