KXEO Congratulates the Scholar Bowl winners

The Hallsville Indians dominated in their return to the MSHSAA Class 3 Scholar Bowl Championship on Saturday. Hallsville beat Savannah 380-310 to win. Hallsville has now won back-to-back championships. All-State Honorees for the Indians included Jared Lockwood and Josh Null. Monroe City placed 3rd in Class 2.

NCMC Track and Field Championships

The NCMC Track and Field Championships were held on Saturday at Fulton. In boys action Hannibal nearly doubled up Fulton, 167.50-86. Mexico placed 6 of 7 teams in the 15-3 event. Mexico Man Dead in Horse Accident

An Audrain County man was killed Thursday when he was apparently kicked in the head by a horse. 70-year old Ronald Pugh of Mexico was found dead Thursday morning after authorities responded to a call of an accident in the 5000 block of Audrain Road 433.
