Sara Walsh, a Republican Party State Committeewoman from Boone County has announced her candidacy to replace Caleb Jones who is vacating his seat to become the new Deputy Chief of Staff.
The 37 year old Ashland resident was planning to run for the position in 2018 when Jones would have been term-limited.
Walsh intends to focus on job creation, public safety, education, and improving care for Missouri’s senior citizens.
