Two people were injured in a car crash in Highway 63 yesterday morning.
According to the highway patrol, the accident happened when a vehicle driven by Antonio Carpenter, of Columbia, struck a vehicle driven by Dusty Workes of Mexico. Carpenter’s vehicle then struck a rock bluff.
Workes was not injured in the collision.
Carpenter, and his passenger Toujaye Carter were taken by ambulance to University Hospital. Carter was listed in serious condition.
