A robbery at the First State Community Bank in Columbia is being investigated by Columbia Police.
The department reports it happened around 11:34 this (Wednesday) afternoon.
A preliminary investigation revealed a male suspect entered the bank, and demanded money.
A short time later officers found a man matching the suspect description in the area of Vandiver Drive and Paris Road.
The man was transported to the police department for questioning.
An investigation is ongoing.
