Authorities Find 91 Grams of Heroin in Columbia Man’s Storage Unit

A Columbia man is facing charges after authorities find 91 grams of heroin in a storage unit. According to the Columbia Police Department they got information about Maurice Mitchell traveling from St. Louis to Columbia with heroin. Detectives say they kept surveillance on the man and saw him making transactions. Mitchell was arrested yesterday afternoon.

Barnes and Noble Purchases Columbia’s MBS

The Columbia bookseller MBS reports it is being purchased by Barnes and Noble. A press release states the sale price was for 174.2 million dollars.
