A house fire on 300 North Calhoun last (Thursday) night causes significant damage.
According to the Mexico Public Safety Department it happened just before 5:30, responding personnel say when they arrived a flame blew out 2 bedroom windows at the back of the house and began spreading up the outside of the home.
No injuries are being reported.
A candle left burning and unattended is said to be the cause of the fire.
