Columbia police are searching for 2 suspects after responding to a shots fired call at the Motel 6 East on 3402 I-70 East this (Friday) morning.
Officers say a male victim said 2 male suspects pushed him into a room, assaulted him, and demanded his property.
Police say on man fired a shot in the victims direction but he was not hit.
The suspects are described black man in their mid 20’s, 5’9 and 6’0 in height, weighing 170 and 185 pounds.
