A Mexico, Missouri man will now face sentencing for Attempted Statutory Sodomy, and Resisting Arrest after a jury returns a guilty verdict yesterday (Monday).
44 year old Jimmy Dale Burns was found guilty of 2 felony counts which concerned sexual contact with an 8 year old girl in June of 2017.
Audrain County Jacob Shellabarger prosecuted the case.
Burns will be sentenced on March 16th, by 12th Circuit Judge Wesley C. Dalton.
