The trial for a Mexico man accused of numerous sex crimes involving a child begins tomorrow. [Wednesday]
Travis Kelly is charged with first degree statutory sodomy and first degree statutory rape, in addition to armed criminal action, and endangering the welfare of a child.
According to a probable cause statement, the 11 year old victim reported he forced her to perform sex acts on him, at one point threatening her with a knife.
The abuse allegedly began in January of 2014, and occurred in multiple places, including a Mexico residence, inside Kelly’s vehicle and at a relative’s home in Hallsville.
