Today (Wednesday) is Ash Wednesday and marks the beginning of Lent.
Mark McGuire Bookkeeper and member of the St. Brendan Catholic Church says many people catholic and non catholic attend a mass today (Wednesday) to receive ashes.
St. Brendan Catholic Church will hold a mass at 8am this (Wednesday) morning and at 6:30pm tonight (Wednesday).
