Video and audio recordings from the fatal duck boat crash on July 19 in Branson reveal the lake went from calm to deadly in minutes.
According to information released yesterday [Friday] the boat entered the water at 6:55 PM, and the lake was calm.
At 7:00 whitecaps appeared on the water and the winds increased. The captain made two calls on a handheld radio and alarms sounded.
Water was splashing in the passenger compartment by 7:05, and the recording ended 3 minutes later.
Seventeen of the 31 passengers on board were killed.
