Audrain County Sheriff Matt Oller is asking for the public’s help gathering information about the circumstances that led to a dog being found bound with tape on Saturday night.
Oller says the dog was spotted on U.S. 54, near Highway HH outside of Mexico.
Oller continues by saying the dog appears to be well mannered.
Anyone with information on where the dog could have come from or have any information on the condition he was in when he was found is asked to contact the sheriff’s office, or anonymously at 1-800-392-TIPS.
