A police chase that began in Centralia around 12:30 yesterday [Monday] morning led to the arrest of one man in Columbia.
Police allegedly attempted to stop 33 year old Matthew Riggs for a traffic violation when he fled and led officers on a high speed chase, that exceeded 100 miles per hour at times.
Police used a spike strip and were eventually able to stop the car near Rangeline Road.
