Senator Claire McCaskill made a campaign stop in Columbia yesterday [Friday] as part of her bid for re-election.
During the “Your Health Care, Your vote” stop, McCaskill discussed insurance coverage for pre-existing conditions.
She called out her opponent Josh Hawley’s participation in a lawsuit that would repeal the Affordable Care Act, including a provision for pre-existing conditions, saying the Republicans have done nothing in preparation for the possible success of the lawsuit.
Hawley has said he supports covering pre-existing conditions, despite his participation in the lawsuit.
