A new 34 thousand square foot training facility in Jefferson City for the Special Olympics opened their doors to the public yesterday [Thursday].
The new building that cost around 18 million dollars and is the largest facility of its kind in the world.
The new training center will provide a training ground to around 15 thousand Special Olympic athletes, and includes tennis courts, golf, horseshoes and a softball field.
