The city of Mexico is now accepting appointments to come and pick up unwanted Christmas Trees. Kevin Barker Street Supervisor for the City of Mexico says they will start the pickup January 7th through the 10th. To make an appointment you can call the city of Mexico at 581-2100.

Mexico Public Works is rescheduling a street closure on South Morris that was planned for today (Thursday) and tomorrow (Friday). The sewer repairs have been rescheduled at South Morris Street between Wilmar and Frances street for January 2nd through 4th. Detour signs will be placed in the area while the work is being completed.
