The Audrain County local emergency planning committee is being awarded a five thousand dollar grant.
The money is being awarded by MERCK for a commodities study.
Audrain County Emergency Management Director Nick Tietsort says the study will give the community the ability to see what hazardous materials are moving through it.
Point Technology’s has been hired to do the study.
It is expected to start in July and results available to the public by October.
