The city of Mexico is granting eleven thousand five hundred dollars to the East Central Drug Task Force.
Mexico Public Safety Chief Susan Rockett says the money will go into a general fund and will be used with grants that fund the program.
Eight counties and fourteen municipalities along with Mexico Public Safety, and the Missouri Highway Patrol are a part of the East Central Missouri Drug Task Force.
