Over eight incidents of storm damage in Mexico after strong winds and heavy rains moved through the area on Saturday.
Mexico Public Safety says around 6:38 Saturday night a large limb broke a power line in the 800 block of Lafayette.
The line remained charged, burning a section of grass.
Ameren responded in about 30 minutes and made the situation safe.
Other damage included trees or large limbs in the roadway.
There were no reported injuries.
