Moberly Police report the arrest of a Bonnets Mill, Missouri woman who was found to have 2 active warrants.
A report was taken on Saturday night of a woman shoplifting at Gordman’s department store in Moberly at 1720 Crete Road.
Officers say when they found the female she denied having concealed any merchandise, and claimed not to have any id and provided false information about her identity.
An investigation revealed the woman was Molly Patterson who had 2 active warrants out of Jefferson City for assault on a police officer and a traffic violation.
While Patterson was being booked officers say they found a syringe commonly used to inject an illegal substance, in her property.
A test of the syringe was positive for the presence of methamphetamine.
Formal charges are pending.
