Mexico Public Safety is reminding everyone that it is illegal to discharge fireworks in the city limits as the Fourth of July holiday approaches.
There will be 2 professional fireworks displays taking place in Mexico.
The first is on the 4th of July at the Optimist Ball Fields.
A second will be the Tyronne Lue Fireworks on July 5th at Garfield Park.
Public Safety is asking anyone who buys fireworks to take them outside the city limits to use them and encourages everyone to follow all fireworks safety rules.
