Missouri Task Force One is on the road to Columbia, South Carolina ahead of the arrival of Hurricane Dorian.
The team is expected to arrive this evening. [Tuesday]
While in staging, the task force will continue to train on safety items pertaining to water rescues and response plans.
Hurricane Dorian is now a category 2 storm, and although the winds have weakened they are extending further from the center of the storm.
The storm is predicted to move parallel to the Florida coast late tonight [Tuesday] and tomorrow morning.
It is expected to reach South Carolina on Thursday.
