Audrain County, like other counties in the listening area, is receiving money from the CARES Act.
Audrain County’s share of the Act’s money is $2.97 million and it is now up to the county commissioners to determine how that money will be doled out.
Commissioners are working on a grant system to disburse the funds to eligible government entities in compliance with conditions from the federal government.
