Target is announcing today (Monday) that it is joining Walmart in closing its stores on Thanksgiving Day.
The move comes as stores try to curb the spread of COVID-19.
Walmart, the nation’s largest retailer, announced the move last week.
Target opened for the first time on Thanksgiving in 2011.
