Sydenstrickers Genetics in Mexico hosted a celebration this (Thursday) morning after recently completing the Missouri Cattlemen’s Association Top 100 Profitability Challenge.
Missouri Lt. Governor Mike Kehoe made remarks at the event and talked about the importance of the Sydenstricker brand in the state.
Kehoe also talked about what FFA teaches Missouri’s youth.
Sydenstricker Genetics was also recognized for their First Place Steer that gained 5.7 pounds per day and converted 5.36 pounds of feed per pound of grain.
The steers hot carcass weight was 959 pounds.
