The Mexico Lady Bulldogs softball team finished second in the War on the Battlefield Tournament in Jefferson City today.
The Lady Dogs started off the morning with a 9-3 win against Truman in the semifinals.

Eboni Mayfield pitched her 3rd complete game and recorded 5 strikeouts.
Abby Bellamy with some big time offense belted a 2 run home run and a grand slam for a 6 RBI game.
Taylor Demint, Maddy Williams and Karlee Sefrit each with an RBI respectively.
The Lady Dogs would lose 3-0 in the championship game against Helias for their first loss of the season.
Mexico is 5-1 on the season, they next play at Kirksville on Tuesday at 5pm.
