The former Brookstone property in Mexico could be sold to a new company soon.
Brookstone declared bankruptcy in 2018.
Mexico Assistant City Manager Russell Runge says the city council is unwinding a tax abatement with Brookstone Stores Inc. to clear the way for the property to be sold.
Mexico City officials say the property could be sold as soon as the end of this month.
