A new principal for the Mexico Middle School will be recommended during the Mexico School Board of Education meeting next week.
Mexico Superintendent Dr. Tammy Lupardus says they had 7 candidates interview for the position.
Lower currently serves as the Assistant Principal at the Mexico Middle School.
Current principal Deb Haag announced she has accepted a position to become the Moberly High School principal next school year.
