Several members of the Mexico High School Track Team are State bound after qualifying during the Sectional Track Meet held in Mexico yesterday (Saturday).
A new school record of 43:29 was set in the 4×100 by Tyler Grimes, Anthony Shivers, Alex Rowan, and Morgan Grubb. Anthony Shivers punched his ticket to State in the 100 with a time of 11:19.
Tyler Grimes is going to State recording a time of 1:57.48 in the 800.
Morgan Grubb jumped his way to State in the Pole Vault at 12’9.
And it was the 4×400 team of Charlie Fisher, Davantae Frame, Anthony Shivers, and Tyler Grimes with a time of 3:29.
