61-year-old Cynthia M. Williamson was arrested on Sunday, August 6, 2023 for an Audrain County warrant.

Car accidents:
A two-car accident in the 100 block of West Monroe on Friday, August 4, 2023 at 1:47pm. According to the Mexico Public Safety accident report it happened when a vehicle driven by 49-year-old Cassandra Hord and a vehicle driven by 64-year-old Linda Pruitt were parked on separate sides of West Monroe. Both vehicles backed simultaneously into each other, causing a collision. No injuries were reported.
