A large group of community members in Mexico were given a tour of the old hospital building this (Thursday) afternoon.
Amanda Shurtz is the CEO of Ziva Medical and says their group seeks to operate hospitals in Mexico and Fulton.
Shurtz says the priority in Mexico is getting an Emergency Room back open.
Shurtz says there are several things standing in the way of reopening.
Shurtz says Ziva Medical has a different plan for reopening the hospital in Fulton.
Shurtz estimates to get both hospitals back open and operational it could take about $15 million give or take $2 million.
The next bankruptcy hearing for Ziva Medical is September 19, 2023.
