A Mexico man is recovering from injuries after a moped accident yesterday on Tuesday, September 20,2023.
According to the Mexico Public Safety accident report it happened around 1:18pm on Muldrow at Jackson.
A 2021 moped driven by 55-year-old John D. Owens slid, then came to an abrupt stop, before he landed in the road on his back and head.
Owens was taken by ambulance to University Hospital in Columbia for treatment.
