Arrests:
Mexico Public Safety reports the arrest of 33-year-old April M. Heldermen on Tuesday, November 28, for Second Degree Assault.
25-year-old Jameriquai Jennings was arrested on Tuesday, November 28, for Domestic Assault.
Calls for service:
Mexico Public Safety responded to the following calls for service on Tuesday, November 28, 2023:
- Harassment on North Clark.
- Peace disturbance at the Springdale Court apartment building.
- Stealing or theft on West Boulevard and at 3066 South Clark.
- Trespassing on West Breckenridge and on South Union.
- Domestic physical incident at North Jefferson and on West Breckenridge.
- Suspicious person at North Clark.
- Animal abuse or neglect reported Marine Drive.
- Vehicle break-in at West Boulevard.
- Child abuse or neglect on Cardinal.
Car accidents:
A two-car accident in the 1700 block of South Clark Street on Tuesday, November 28th at 6pm.
According to the Mexico Public Safety accident report it happened when a vehicle driven by 19-year-old Maria Ann of Mexico struck the back of a vehicle driven by 62-year-old Dan Alan Lichtenberger of Mexico.
Minor damage was reported to both vehicles.
No injuries were reported.
A two-car accident on Tuesday, November 28th just after 6:30pm at the intersection of South Clark and West Promenade.
According to the Mexico Public Safety accident report it happened when a vehicle driven by 28-year-old Amanda Emerson of Mexico struck a vehicle driven by 31-year-old Justin Hamacher of Columbia near a stop sign.
No injuries were reported.
