Kingdom City Hotel Owner And Employees Charged After Narcotics Related Search Warrant Served

Two employees of Amerihost Inn Suites in Kingdom City are facing charges after being arrested for allegedly using and selling drugs at the hotel.

The owner of the hotel was also arrested on a charge of maintaining a public nuisance.

The Callaway County Sheriff’s Office, in collaboration with the MUSTANG Drug Task Force, executed a narcotics-related search warrant on December 18th for a room at Amerihosts Inn Suites.

According to the sheriff’s office the targets of the search warrant were the two employees, Rachel Hile and Christopher Payne.

Deputies report recovering 14.5 grams of methamphetamine from the operation and found digital weighing scales along with plastic bags.

Hile was arrested and charged with delivery of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia, and Payne, is charged with possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.

On December 26th, Shamaz Waheed, the owner of Amerihost Inn and Suites, was arrested on a requested charge of maintaining a public nuisance.

According to the Callaway County Sheriff’s Department the investigation is ongoing.
