The Mexico Bulldogs boys claimed second place in the Rolla Holiday Tournament losing 67-59 to the host team Rolla Bulldogs in the championship game on Friday, December 29. 2023.
Jaydon Eldridge led Mexico with 22 points.
Kaden Benne finished with 11 points.
PJ Perkins had 10 points.
And Charlie Fisher and DJ Long had 8 points each respectively.
DJ Long and Jaydon Eldridge were named to the all tournament team.
Mexico is now 11-2 on the season.
The 9th ranked Missouri Tigers defeated the 7th ranked Ohio State Buckeyes 14-3, at the 88th Goodyear Cotton Bowl last (Friday) night at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
The Tigers finished its season 11-2.
Mizzou quarterback Brady Cook finished with 11 passes for 128 yards and one touchdown.
Cook was named offensive MVP of the game, while Johnny Walker Jr. took the defensive MVP title. Missouri running back Cody Schrader led the Tigers with 128 yards and one touchdown on 29 carries.
The win puts Missouri at 3-1 all-time in the Cotton Bowl Classic.
The St. Louis Blues lost 2-1 to the Colorado Avalanche last (Friday) night.
Robert Thomas and Jordan Binnington made 21 saves for St. Louis, which had its three-game winning streak halted.
The Blues slipped to 5-2 under interim head coach Drew Bannister.
The Missouri Tigers men’s basketball team will be back at Mizzou Arena for the first time in nearly four weeks when they host Central Arkansas in the final non-conference game of the season on Saturday, December 30, 2023.
