Mexico Public Safety responded to the following calls for service on Monday, February 26, 2024.
- Suspicious person on Bougainville and at 1109 East Liberty.
- Runaway juvenile on Cleveland.
- Harassment at North Clark.
- Stealing or theft on Quantico Road and at 4820 South Clark.
- Natural gas odor on Summer Ridge Road.
- Fraud at West Monroe.
- Domestic verbal incident on West Breckenridge Drive.
- Suspicious vehicle at Lakeview Park.
Car accidents:
A one-car accident on South Clark at Boulevard on Monday, February 26, 2024.
According to the Mexico Public Safety accident report it happened when a vehicle driven by 24-year-old Cayden Simpson of Mexico was backing out of a private driveway onto North Clark Street and collided with a parked vehicle.
No injuries were reported.
A three-car accident on South Clark at Boulevard on Monday, February 26, 2024.
According to the Mexico Public Safety accident report it happened when a vehicle driven by a 17-year-old Paris boy did not realize the vehicle in front of him driven by 70-year-old Ramona Leonard of Mexico had not moved yet, and began to drive forward making contact with Leonard’s vehicle.
Leonard’s vehicle was pushed forward making contact with a vehicle driven by 25-year-old Anna Wilkerson of Centralia.
No injuries were reported.
