Mexico Bulldogs baseball lost 4-3 in a tough North Central Missouri Conference game against the Kirksville Tigers in Kirksville on Friday, March 29, 2024.
The game was tied at three in the bottom of the seventh when Kirksville’s Connor Hall hit a walk-off double that scored a run.
Mexico struck first with a ground out by Austin Maxwell that put the Bulldogs on the board in the top of the first.
Sam Ryan added to the Mexico lead in the top of the second inning with a single.
Kirksville committed an error, scoring the run.
Sam Ryan was the starting pitcher for Mexico.
Ryan struck out four batters. Sam Ryan led Mexico offense, with one RBI going 1-for-3 on the day.
Kaden Benne, Sam Ryan, Tyson Carr and Chance McCarty each collected one hit for Mexico.
