The unofficial results for General Municipal Election held on Tuesday, April 2, 2024 have been released.
Out of the 15,171 registered voters there were a total of 1,764 votes cast for an 11.63% voter turnout.
Voters approved the Paws For Progress $21 million no tax increase for the Mexico School District.
826 voted yes and 389 voted no.
Michelle Stephens and Chris Williams have been elected to serve three-year terms on the Mexico Board of Education.
Lennette Brown ran unopposed for a two-year term on the Mexico Board of Education and received 1,052 votes.
Incumbents Chris Miller and Vicki Briggs were elected to serve another term on the Mexico City Council.
