The Mexico Bulldogs high school varsity basketball guys finished up their summer tour in Fulton on Monday, June 25, 2024.
Mexico came away with two wins.
A 38-14 win over Fulton.
And a 42-28 victory against South Callaway.
Bulldogs head coach Darren Pappas says “In the first contest it was our defense that was extremely strong and held Fulton to one shot and out. Offensively we moved the ball really well to find the open man in transition and in the half court.
The second game we had to adjust offensively against the South Callaway zone. Once we found the gaps we were able to attack and hit some perimeter shots. The defense once again showed how good it can be by forcing turnovers and dominating on the glass.”
Mexico finished a 26 game schedule in 10 days.
The team will now focus their attention in the weight room to start preparing for the upcoming season.
