Mexico Public Safety responded to the following calls for service over the weekend starting on Friday, June 28, 2024:
- Suspicious person on Marine Drive and at 2717 South Clark.
- Careless and imprudent driver on West Buchanan/Webster.
- Property damage at West Robinson.
- Stealing or theft at 2717 South Clark.
- Trespassing on Vance Road.
- Domestic physical incident at North Western.
Public Safety went to the following calls on Saturday, June 29, 2024:
- Suspicious person on South Morris Street and at 1010 East Liberty and on West Street/Boulevard.
- Stolen vehicle at Bourne.
- Vehicle break-in on Friendship Drive.
- Stealing or theft at Randy.
- Assault without injury on Kent Road.
- Suspicious vehicle at East Breckenridge.
- Trespassing on West Monroe.
Mexico Public Safety responded to these calls on Sunday, June 30, 2024:
- Suspicious person at Osage/Lakeview.
- Stealing or theft on West Breckenridge and at South Calhoun and on North Olive and on Harwood and at West Pearson and at the South Calhoun apartment building.
- Vehicle break-in on West Jackson.
- Trespassing at South Washington.
- Suspicious vehicle on West Anderson.
Car accidents:
A two-car accident on Kent Road on Sunday, June 30, 2024.
According to the Mexico Public Safety accident report it happened when a vehicle driven by 84-year-old Harold Wilson of Mexico failed to put the vehicle in park.
The vehicle rolled into the yard of 1307 Kent and hit a tree.
Wilson was listed as injured.
The severity of his injuries was not listed.
Minor damage is being reported to two vehicles following an accident on West Robinson and North Olive on Friday, June 28, 2024.
According to the Mexico Public Safety accident report it happened when a vehicle driven by 25-year-old Ryan White of Mexico reversed into a vehicle driven by 42-year-old Doug Robar or Mexico.
No injuries were reported.
A two-car accident on the East Liberty Bypass on Friday, June 28, 2024.
According to the Mexico Public Safety accident report it happened when a vehicle driven by 21-year-old Savannah Kary of Louisiana, Missouri was stopped at the stop sign waiting to turn and was hit from behind by a vehicle driven by 59-year-old Carol Kropfl of Branson.
No injuries were reported.
