Two juveniles were detained in Mexico in connection to a vehicle being stolen over the weekend.
Mexico Public Safety Department responded to the 400 block of Bourne Street on Saturday, June 29, 2024, in reference to a vehicle being stolen sometime after 7pm the previous night.
On Saturday morning, Mexico Public Safety says they received multiple reports of vehicles being rummaged through in the east side of town with about four vehicles having items stolen from them.
An investigation led to the recovery of the stolen vehicle and most of the stolen property.
Two juveniles, who were identified as being involved, were detained and later released to guardians.
The investigation is ongoing and cases will be forwarded to the 12th Circuit Court Juvenile Division.
