The following news release was sent from the City of Moberly.
Water service will be interrupted on Monday, July 8, 2024 from 8 AM and 3 PM, due to a fire hydrant replacement.
Customers will be affected in the following areas:
• 900 Block of Vincil Street
• 700 and 800 Blocks of Taylor Street
• 700 Block of Farror Street
• All surrounding areas
Water service will be restored once repairs are completed.
If you experience low water pressure, or have no water, in your area there will be a 48-hour boil advisory when water service is restored.
Customers in these areas are advised that due to the time required for testing to confirm water quality in the system, the boil advisory will remain in effect for 48 hours once water service is restored.
During a Boil Advisory, water used for consumption should be boiled for 3 minutes and cooled before drinking.
