Missouri State Senator Cindy O’Laughlin congratulated Zenith on its progress, and Sebastien Heintz (President/Owner, Zenith Aircraft) made final remarks.
A large crowd gathered at the Mexico Memorial Airport for Zenith Aircraft Company’s 33rd annual Homecoming fly-in and open hangar days on Friday, September 20th and Saturday, September 21st, 2024.
This year’s event included a ribbon cutting ceremony organized by The Mexico Area Chamber of Commerce to celebrate the completion of Zenith Aircraft’s recent factory expansion.
Zenith Aircraft was presented with a Progress Award from the Mexico Chamber of Progress for the expansion.
The Zenith expansion project added over 10,000 square feet to the Zenith Aircraft kit aircraft factory.
The expansion also provided additional space for increased kit aircraft parts fabrication, as well as shipping and receiving, and allows for an expanded Zenith aircraft showroom hanger area.
Zenith hosted an informal outdoor dinner banquet on Friday evening on the Zenith ramp with more than 250 guests.
